Nofar Energy buys firm behind 160 MW solar park in Romania

Nofar Energy, known for its expertise in developing, operating, and storing energy from PV plants and wind farms, has acquired 100% of the shares in Aviv Renewable Investment. 

This project company is currently developing a 160 MW photovoltaic park in Giurgiu County. This new project is located next to another one that Nofar had previously acquired from the same seller.

This recent acquisition is part of a broader partnership between Clifford Chance and Nofar Energy, focusing on several renewable energy projects in Romania with a combined installed capacity of 643 MW. The collaboration includes work on corporate M&A, EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) contracts, O&M (Operation & Maintenance), financing, and regulatory matters.

The complex transaction was supported by a team from Clifford Chance with deep experience in Energy M&A.
