Electric vehicle sales up 28% in 2022 in key European markets

Sales of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in the key European markets rose by 28% in 2022 from the previous year while global BEV sales grew by 70% year-on-year in 2022. It is estimated that electric vehicles beat internal combustion vehicles in terms of total cost of ownership, even at current electricity prices, according to PwC.

Users of the financial application Revolut have donated over €11.8 million for refugees from Ukraine. €860,000 were donated by Romanian users to the NGOs that joined the Appeal (Romanian Red Cross, Hope and Homes for Children, Fundația Regală Margareta a României, Code for Romania).

Brasov County to have a comprehensive waste management system

The Braşov County Council has established the locations for the investments of the Integral Waste Management System (SMID) project in Braşov County. For this project, the county public administration provided RON 9.09 million in this year's budget (€ 1.8 million).
