The Carmistin Group invested €8 million in a poultry farm in the town of Potcoava in Olt County. It is the first farm of the Group to benefit from a power plant that uses biomass to heat the halls. Romania reduces fossil gas consumption by 25%

Between August 2022 and January 2023, Romania is managing to reduce fossil gas consumption by approximately 25%, according to a report published by CEE Bankwatch Network. According to the report, Romania allocates four times more European funds for fossil gas, despite the climate objectives. EU Modernisation Fund invests €2.4 billion to accelerate green transition
