DualStore.ro, an online phone and gadget store and manufacturer of iSEN electric scooters and bicycles, launches iSEN Mobility, the first Romanian application for electric scooters. The creation of the application involved an investment of over €30,000, DualStore.ro thus becoming the first Romanian manufacturer of electric scooters with a dedicated application. The application gives users the possibility to manage some of the functions of the iSEN scooters with the help of their mobile phones. Thus, locking and unlocking the scooter, turning the headlight on and off, changing gear and speed unit, etc. can be set directly from the app.

With the help of the application, users are aware of the weekly average and the number of kilometers traveled in total and on the last ride, as well as the battery level and temperature.

The app can be customized with users' age, gender, weight, and height information. Users can also access the Help section, where they receive real-time technical support from iSEN specialists.

"We launched the iSEN Mobility app out of a desire to give extra help to iSEN scooter users so that they can use these devices better, more easily, and have access to all the statistics about the product's status or the rides made. We see this step as a natural evolution, in our attempt to be closer to customers", says Ioana Szentlaszloi, co-founder of DualStore.ro.

The company has allocated over €400,000 in the development of its own iSEN brand, from the summer of 2021, when it was launched, until now. The investment was directed to the production of electric scooters and bicycles.

The iSEN portfolio lists 6 models of electric scooters and 3 models of electric bicycles.

Currently, the company is working on a new range upgrade and estimates, for this year, an investment of €100,000 in this product segment.

"Direct collaboration with suppliers in China and Europe gives us the opportunity to bring exclusive models to the market at competitive prices. Electric scooters and bicycles are assembled in Romania, with parts imported from China", says Ioana Szentlaszloi.

The sales of electric scooters and bicycles represented 10% of the total of €2 million registered by DualStore.ro in 2022. The company estimates, for 2023, that the sales of electric scooters and bicycles will reach 35% of the total sales of DualStore.ro.

Launched in 2007, in Baia Mare, DualStore.ro, an online phone and gadget store and manufacturer of iSEN electric scooters and bicycles, registered a business of over €2 million last year.
