SIPEX partners with Menlo Electric to expand solar solutions

SIPEX, a major Romanian distributor of construction and finishing material, has announced a partnership with Menlo Electric, a leading supplier in the photovoltaic components market. 

With over 27 years in the industry, SIPEX aims to offer a comprehensive package for photovoltaic projects, including solar panels, storage batteries, inverters, and cables through this collaboration.

Irinel Gheorghe, CEO of SIPEX, stated, "Our strategy focuses on organic growth by expanding our product range and adapting to market opportunities. Partnering with Menlo Electric supports the transition to sustainable energy, including the 'Casa Verde 2024' program. With nationwide coverage and Menlo Electric's expertise, we will provide complete solar energy solutions across all sales channels—retail, B2B, and online."

Adrian Stan, Country Manager for Romania and the Balkans at Menlo Electric, highlighted the benefits of this collaboration: "Working with SIPEX, a major player in Romania's building materials market, enables us to offer high-quality photovoltaic equipment, contributing to the growth of renewable energy in the country. Our partnership with SIPEX positions us to meet the increasing demand for solar energy in the region."

In the past two years, SIPEX has expanded its product range through partnerships with Policolor-Orgachim, a leader in paint and lacquer technology in Southeast Europe, and TeraPlast, the largest polymer processor in Central and Eastern Europe, to distribute a complete underfloor heating system under the NeoTer brand.
