Oradea builds photovoltaic park with European funds

Green Forum
Eight companies or associations of companies have submitted bids for the construction of the photovoltaic park next to the Multipurpose Hall Oradea Arena, which will serve both the parking lot and the hall.

The photovoltaic power plant will be located near the Oradea. The estimated value of the contract is 9.982.337,42 lei without VAT.

The photovoltaic power plant near the Oradea Arena is being built with European funds. The project was submitted by the International Projects Management Directorate within the "Energy in Romania Programme" and is financed by the EEA and Norway Financial Mechanisms 2014-2021.

The investment consists in the construction of a photovoltaic power plant located in the parking lot on Traian Blajovici Street, intended mainly for self-consumption of electricity by supplying electricity to the geothermal thermal station (STG) and car charging stations belonging to the Multipurpose Hall.

To carry out the investment, a system of photovoltaic modules mounted on a fixed metal structure, with concrete foundations, facing south-east, south-west, at an angle of inclination of 10°, grouped in rows, is proposed, which will be connected to 20 kVA inverters, distributed, according to a configuration defined by the designer, to partially cover the electricity consumption base of the Geothermal Thermal Station, located in the vicinity of the Multipurpose Hall, during the day.

Thus, according to the dimensions achieved, approximately 1,480 photovoltaic modules will be installed, with a total installed power of approximately 858.40 kWp, which will serve both the car park and the Multipurpose Hall.
