Arctic introduces 100% electric utility vehicles to its fleet

Green Forum
Arctic has introduced 100% electric utility vehicles to its service network fleet, continuing its efforts to reduce its carbon footprint.

The initiative is part of the company's sustainability strategy and a first step in the transition to a green fleet.

"A total of 10 Renault Kangoo E-Tech electric vans have joined the fleet destined for the Arctic service network. The new electric vehicles will serve centres in Dâmbovița, Argeș, Sibiu, Vâlcea, Dolj, Bistrița-Năsăud, Cluj, Suceava and Brașov counties. The distribution of these vehicles was designed to cover large and busy urban areas," the press release said.

At the same time, dedicated charging stations will be installed in all locations to ensure the efficient operation of the fleet. This first change in the company's fleet will have a positive impact, with around 37 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions avoided annually.

Arctic currently operates a network of 36 service centres with a fleet of 110 vehicles.

In recent years, Arctic has made significant strides in integrating sustainable practices throughout its value chain. This has involved implementing a number of measures in line with the Arcelik Group's sustainability-focused vision of achieving zero carbon emissions by 2050.
