Craiova to have 30 new electric buses

The 30 new electric buses, ordered by Craiova City Hall, are already in Cirogîrla, and will arrive in Craiova by the end of April, announced the mayor of Craiova, Lia Olguta Vasilescu. The buses are 12 m long, cost a total of €19 million, and are purchased with European money.

"The 30 electric buses supplied by BMC TRUCK & BUS for Craiova City Hall are already in the company's warehouse in Ciorogirla, where they are being equipped with the latest ITS equipment (video cameras, electronic displays, etc.)", says the mayor on her Facebook page.

The first bus will be brought to Craiova by the end of April, 23 will be brought in May, and the last 6 will arrive by the end of July.
