L'Oréal Group has received global recognition for its DEI&I (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Integrity), ethical, and sustainability practices.

As a global leader in the beauty segment, L'Oréal Group has risen to ninth place in the 2024 edition of the Equileap Report and Ranking on Gender Equality. To achieve this, Equileap, an independent entity specializing in DEI parameters, evaluated 3,795 publicly traded companies from 27 global markets based on carefully defined criteria.

This year marks the 15th consecutive time that L'Oréal Group has been recognized as one of the World's Most Ethical Companies® for 2024 by Ethisphere, a global leader in defining and promoting ethical business practices. L'Oréal is one of three awarded companies in the Health & Beauty industry. In 2024, 136 awardees from 20 countries and 44 industries received Ethisphere recognition. The evaluation of the world's most ethical companies is based on the Ethics Quotient®, an extensive questionnaire that asks companies to provide over 240 pieces of evidence regarding ethical culture, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices, ethics, and compliance programs, DEI initiatives, as well as initiatives supporting a strong value chain.

Additionally, earlier this year, L'Oréal Group announced that it is one of the companies that received an A score for the eighth consecutive year for sustainability practices, being included by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), a non-profit environmental organization, on the list of companies excelling in transparency regarding environmental impact and demonstrating remarkable performance in addressing climate change, protecting forests, and ensuring water security. L'Oréal is one of the 10 companies to achieve a triple "A" score in 2023 – out of over 21,000 analyzed companies, being the only company to achieve an "A" rating for eight consecutive years in all three environmental themes evaluated by CDP. The CDP scoring process is widely recognized as the gold standard for corporate environmental transparency.
