Babeş Bolyai University invests in increasing energy efficiency

The Babeş-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca (UBB) will implement, as a partner, a European project of RON18.85 million (€3.8 million), financed under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Component 5 – The value of the renovation, to increase the energy efficiency of the buildings of the "Raluca Ripan" Chemical Research Institute.

The implementation period of a project is 24 months, until March 2025.

The building of the chemical research institute falls into the category of public buildings, being owned by the Romanian state.

The building currently houses the Faculty of Environmental Science and Engineering of Babeş-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca.
