Premier Energy completes 10 MW solar plant in Moldova

Premier Energy has announced the successful completion of a 10 MW photovoltaic power plant by its subsidiary Navitas in the Republic of Moldova.

Located near Cismichioi, the plant was developed and constructed at a total cost of approximately €380,000 per MW of capacity. The plant became fully operational by the end of December 2024, increasing Premier Energy's total photovoltaic generation capacity in Moldova to 28 MW.

Throughout 2024, Premier Energy also achieved the development and construction of 24 MW of additional photovoltaic capacity in Moldova, contributing to the country's efforts to enhance its domestic electricity generation.

Premier Energy Group is a vertically integrated energy and infrastructure company operating across the Southeastern European (SEE) region. With more than 1,000 MW of renewable electricity generation either owned, managed, or under development in Romania and Moldova, the company ranks as the third-largest natural gas distributor and supplier in Romania, and the largest electricity distributor and supplier in Moldova.
