Podravka invests €5 million in solar power

Croatian food and pharmaceutical producer Podravka has completed a €5 million investment in rooftop solar panels as part of its sustainability strategy.

In 2024, the company added 9,158.2 kW of solar power capacity, generating an estimated 9,131,310 kWh annually. New solar panels have been installed on rooftops in Koprivnica, Varaždin, and Dugopole, Croatia, as well as in Maribor, Slovenia.

The European Union's Modernization Fund co-financed the project, which aligns with the EU's goal of modernizing energy systems and improving energy efficiency.
