Unibep to build biomass plant for Orlen in Poland

Unibep has signed a contract with Orlen Termika for the construction of a biomass boiler house at the Pruszków combined heat and power (CHP) plant. 

The contract is worth approximately €46.1 million.

The contract covers the construction of a complete, new biomass boiler house equipped with three identical boiler units, each with a capacity not exceeding 14.9 MWt, along with auxiliary systems and installations. 

The investment also includes the integration of the new boiler house into the existing infrastructure of the Pruszków CHP plant. The project is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2027.
