ProCredit Bank launches the green loan ProGreen Auto intended for individuals who want to purchase a new, fully electric, or plug-in hybrid car. The new product is part of the ProGreen green loan offer, designed to support ProCredit Bank clients in making sustainable investments. The bank does not require a grant commission or payment of an advance, nor does it require the conclusion of CASCO insurance. The credit is also available for customers accessing the Rabla Plus program. Within the same analysis, eligible customers can request additional financing, up to 10% of the amount intended for the purchase of the vehicle, for other related expenses such as the installation of an electric charging station, or for road costs.

"The green car market in Romania is in full development, and ProCredit Bank aims to stimulate the transition to environmentally friendly means of transport for the general public. The ProGreen Auto loan comes with numerous advantages to facilitate the purchase of new electric and plug-in hybrid cars. In addition to the advantageous interest rates on the purchase of the vehicle, customers can access additional financing of up to 10% of the value of the car within the same credit product, to cover any additional expenses related to the investment. They also benefit from free electric charging anywhere in the EVconnect partner's network for the first 1000 kilometers traveled", says Alexandra Floricică, Head of Green Energy, ProCredit Bank.

New customers can apply online for the ProGreen Auto Credit, right from opening an account. The loan can be granted in lei both with a variable interest (IRCC + 3.28%) and with fixed interest (10%), for a period of up to 5 years and with the possibility of full financing of the investment, within the limit of €50,000, equivalent in lei.

ProCredit Bank also concluded a partnership with EVconnect, one of the main providers of charging solutions for electric cars. Within this, customers who apply for the ProGreen Auto credit until 22.09.2023 will be able to benefit from the amount of RON400 (€80) on the EVconnect card, which covers the required kW for traveling approximately 1000 kilometers. The amount will be awarded after the purchase is made.
