8,102 hectares will be naturally regenerated, while another 3,985 hectares will be artificially regenerated through reforestation works.

Additionally, current completion works will be carried out in plantations on 2,381 hectares, as well as restoration works for plantations affected by calamities on another 726 hectares in the state forest fund.

The budget allocated this year for carrying out all reforestation works, plantation completions, restoration of calamity-affected plantations, maintenance of plantations, and naturally regenerated areas is approximately €59.5 million.

In the last five years, the National Forest Administration - Romsilva has regenerated 72,330 hectares of state-owned forest land, of which 48,604 hectares through natural regeneration and 23,726 hectares through reforestation works.
