"The photovoltaic park, built at the Emergency County Hospital "Dr. Constantin Opris" Baia-Mare, will provide over 70% of the electricity consumed at the largest hospital unit in Maramures", informs the Maramures County Council.
Approximately 900 kilowatt-hours will be produced here, with all 2,000 panels to be installed. This project must be completed by Christmas.
The County Hospital has 920 beds, many medical offices, and laboratories, all of which consume energy.
"We spend millions and millions of euros on energy. We made this European project to reduce energy consumption. We are working at a fast pace so that we can settle the European money by the end of the year", said the president of the Maramureș County Council.
Also, CJ Maramureș has in the project the modernization of the Emergency Reception Unit (UPU) service of SJU and the construction of a new heliport.
"We have important projects for the development and modernization of the Maramureș County Hospital because the residents of Maramureș must have access to quality medical services, in modern conditions", said Ionel Bogdan, president of the Maramureș County Council.
