Axpo to supply green power to Auchan in Poland

Green Forum
Axpo's Polish subsidiary has signed a route-to-market agreement to supply renewable electricity to Auchan's operations in Poland, under a corporate power purchase agreement (PPA) between the French retail group and GoldenPeaks.

Through this arrangement, Axpo Polska will deliver approximately 115 GWh of green electricity annually from 35 solar plants owned by GoldenPeaks Capital across the country.

The energy will power Auchan's stores in Poland and support the company's climate strategy, which aims for a 46% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2030.
