R.Power secures first Romanian solar PPA

Polish renewable energy developer R.Power has signed its first power purchase agreement (PPA) in Romania with an undisclosed energy trading company.

The agreement, covering the period from 2026 to 2036, involves the delivery of approximately 357 GWh of renewable energy from R.Power's solar projects in Romania. The deal's value has not been disclosed.

"This Romanian PPA demonstrates our team's capacity to implement our business model internationally. Romania is becoming an increasingly significant market for us, and this agreement lays the groundwork for sustainable growth in the region," said Rafal Hajduk, R.Power's Chief Commercial Officer.

R.Power is one of Poland's largest companies in the photovoltaic sector, with projects in Romania, Poland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Germany.
