Visual Fan completes 1 MWp solar plant for Saint-Gobain

Romanian tech firm Visual Fan, operating under the Allview brand, announced the completion of a 1 MWp photovoltaic (PV) plant for Saint-Gobain's Romanian division. 

The system was installed on the roof of Saint-Gobain's plasterboard factory in Turda, Cluj county. Co-financed through the National Resilience and Recovery Plan (NRRP), the plant was developed over eight weeks and features 1,725 solar panels covering nearly 7,000 sq m. 

"We aim for zero net carbon emissions by 2050," said Ovidiu Pascutiu, CEO of Saint-Gobain Romania.
