Iulius invests €29 million in Europe's largest private soil cleanup

Romanian developer Iulius has launched Europe's largest private bioremediation project, investing €29 million to clean 38 hectares of contaminated land in downtown Constanța. The project will transform the former Oil Terminal platform into an integrated urban regeneration complex worth over €800 million.

ABB E-mobility to provide fast charging infrastructure for buses in Constanța

ABB E-mobility supplied Constanta with its latest fast charging technology, powering the city's electric buses and accelerating its transition to emission-free mobility. Constanta installed five 300 kW HVC-PD (Heavy Vehicle Charger Pantograph Down) and twenty 50 kW Terra 54 HV fast charging stations to power its BYD electric bus fleet. All charging stations installed in Constanta are Cloud connected through ABB Ability™, facilitating remote software upgrades.

Constanța's CT Bus SA to build PV park to power electric buses

The city of Constanta wants to "charge" its electric buses from the sun. The CT Bus SA company is consulting the market for the creation of a photovoltaic park that will increase the energy independence of the company. It would be used to power electric buses.

Etem Gestamp signs cross-border wind power deal with Rezolv

Etem Gestamp, the Sofia-based joint venture between Viohalco Group and Spain's Gestamp Group focused on aluminium extrusion and processing for the automotive industry, and Rezolv Energy, the Actis-backed independent power producer, have signed a 10-year virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) in Bulgaria. The VPPA will see Etem Gestamp buy electricity from Rezolv Energy's 461MW 'Vifor' wind farm, which is about to come onstream in Buzău County, Romania. It is the first cross-border wind PPA that has been publicly announced in Bulgaria.
