Alstom and Irish Rail presented a life-size model of the X'Trapolis train, which will be able to run on non-electrified sections of the railway with the help of energy stored in batteries. Alstom's X'trapolis suburban modular train has been sold in over 6,000 units worldwide. Modern fleet of trains will increase the transport capacity and the pace of decarbonization will accelerate.
