Globalworth renews Access4you certification for entire Romanian portfolio

Green Forum
Globalworth has renewed its Access4you certification for all 16 office buildings in its Romanian portfolio, totaling almost 500,000 sqm. The recertification, conducted with consultancy services from Colliers, marks the second three-year certification cycle for the leading office investor in CEE.

All 16 buildings maintained their Certified Place status, while Globalworth Tower and Globalworth Square became the first properties in the portfolio to reach Silver level. This standard includes measures for people with visual or hearing impairments, beyond just mobility needs.

"With the support of our team, the 2025 Access4you recertification confirms Globalworth's commitment to creating a more inclusive built environment," says Roxana Isopescu, Director ESG Strategic Advisory at Colliers. "The Silver level achieved by Globalworth Tower and Globalworth Square highlights tangible investments in infrastructure and services tailored to people with visual and hearing impairments."

Most Globalworth buildings offer accessibility for wheelchair users, elderly people, and those with reduced mobility. The Access4you database, available online and via mobile app, provides detailed information on certified locations to help people with disabilities make informed decisions.

"Our mission is to make the built environment more accessible," says Balázs Berecz, Founder and CEO of Access4you, who has been using a wheelchair since 2005. "The recertification proves that they are real social evangelists who think of accessibility in the long term."
