Evergent to produce organic blueberries

Investment company Evergent Investments, based in Bacău County, identifies a "growing demand for organic products" and is now investing in organic blueberry production. As part of its private equity portfolio, Evergent Investments, through its company Ever Agribio, recently bought 50 hectares of land in Săucești commune, Bacau county, intended for the production of organic blueberries. Thus, the investors have increased to 105 hectares of the area they cultivate within their own "Blueberry Farms" project. This includes a 23-hectare plot of land that the investors from Băcău bought for their blueberry farm in Rătești commune, Argeș county, through their own company Agrointens SA.

"The investment in organic production strategically positions the company in line with trends and opens up opportunities for innovation," the company announces.

Evergent Investments, the investment company listed under the symbol EVER, reported investments of 151.6 million lei as of March 31, 2023, and a total asset value of RON2.419 million (€483,800). The company distributed dividends with a yield of 7%, competitive in the capital market. On June 28, Evergent Investments to start paying dividends for the year 2022, in the total amount of RON82.7 million (€16.5 million).

The financial performance recorded a net result of RON2.41 million (€482,000), composed of RON4.6 million (€920,000) loss and RON7.01 million (€1.4 million) net gain from the sale of financial assets reflected in the retained earnings.
