Green Forum
Starting December 31, 2024, PPC Energie and PPC Energie Muntenia, both part of the PPC Group in Romania, will merge. This strategic move aims to streamline electricity and natural gas supply operations, reduce the impact of market fluctuations, and improve flexibility, ensuring that customers continue to receive high-quality services at competitive prices.

Ionut Dună, General Director of PPC Energie, highlighted that the merger will strengthen the company's position in the Romanian energy market while enhancing the overall customer experience. The unification will allow PPC Energie to offer additional value through advanced energy solutions and personalized support, all while maintaining superior service quality.

From December 30, 2024, to January 5, 2025, some PPC Energy services, including the MyPPC app, will be temporarily unavailable as the systems are updated for the merger.

After the merger, PPC Energie S.A. will take over the supply contracts and billing for PPC Energie Muntenia customers, but there will be no changes to the existing agreements.
