Exus Renewables acquires 1.2 GW wind portfolio in Poland

Green Forum
Exus Renewables has announced its expansion into Poland with the acquisition of two significant wind farm portfolios: a 1,056 MW portfolio of seven wind farms and a 53 MW portfolio of two wind farms.

These acquisitions mark a key step in Exus' broader European growth strategy, strengthening its renewable energy footprint across the continent.

In July 2024, Exus acquired the 1,056 MW portfolio from Energetyka Polska. The projects, currently under development, are located in south and southwest Poland and will be co-developed with Energetyka Polska, a company with over 20 years of experience in the region's wind energy sector.

Additionally, Exus has acquired a 53 MW wind portfolio consisting of two projects in west-central Poland—one 30 MW and one 23 MW. Both are under construction, with commissioning scheduled for Q3 2025. These projects will also incorporate 65 MW of solar capacity through cable pooling, which is currently under development.
