Restart Energy completes two PV projects with total value of over €300,000

Restart Energy has completed two photovoltaic projects for Com Divers, with a total value of over €300,000, which the beneficiary expects to amortize within approximately three years.

"The rooftop projects have a combined power of 416 kW and were installed on the roofs of two industrial halls owned by the beneficiary, located in Pitești, Argeș County, and Budești, Vâlcea County," the statement said.

The two photovoltaic plants consist of 928 panels covering a total area of 3,200 square meters. The panels will produce a total of 416 MWh of energy per year, covering approximately 60% of the company's energy needs.

The solar panels will reduce CO2 emissions by about 160 tons per year and radioactive waste by 1.4 kg per year.

"The reduction of carbon emissions through the implementation of solar energy projects will be monitored through the RED platform, implemented in 2021, a marketplace dedicated to calculating the carbon footprint, reducing carbon emissions through sustainability projects, or offsetting the carbon footprint," the statement continued.

According to the company, the green attributes, both those obtained for individual sustainable actions and carbon credits, can be sold internally through the RED platform marketplaces in a technologized, transparent, and secure process dedicated to reducing carbon emissions and improving ESG policies.

"Photovoltaic panels ensure decentralization. The operational and financial benefits are evident, and we contribute to protecting the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and the carbon footprint," said Daniel Lazăr, administrator of Com Divers, in the statement.

Armand Domuța, CEO & Founder of Restart Energy, emphasized that easy and abundant access to cheap and renewable energy sources is essential for supporting a modern industry.

"Sustainability and green energy, whether rooftop or ground installations, provide clients with cost predictability and energy savings of approximately 50% in their processes. The solar energy projects implemented by Restart Energy through the Solar Division have produced about 20.54 GWh of green energy so far, and our goal for 2024 is to double this amount," stated Armand Domuța.

Restart Energy provided the beneficiary company with the entire energy efficiency project, from consultancy and design to implementation.

In January 2021, Restart Energy signed a partnership with the American fund Interlink Capital Strategies from Washington DC to finance the development of 500 MW of renewable projects in Romania by 2025, aiming to supply 100% locally produced green energy to all end customers.

In February 2021, Restart Energy successfully launched Romania's first convertible green bond issue, which was listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange under the code REO26.

Restart Energy is a leading energy company with mixed Romanian-American capital.

Com Divers is a company specializing in domestic and international freight transport, offering integrated logistics and forwarding services. The company has an authorized service for trucks and trailers and sells spare parts and accessories for heavy vehicles.
