Eurowind Energy's 60.2 MW solar park in Transylvania will become operational by the end of April. The plant will be part of nearly 600 MW of new capacity that Romania will commission through its National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
In parallel, the Ministry of Energy will launch a €450 million grant program to support companies investing in energy efficiency and self-consumption.
The solar park, located in Teiuș, Alba County, began construction one year ago and will generate approximately 104 GWh per year. The total investment will reach €55 million including VAT, with €15 million provided through government funding under the PNRR. Minister Burduja stated that nearly 600 MW of new energy capacity will be commissioned under the PNRR across Romania.
