ENEVO Group has announced the successful completion and commissioning of its photovoltaic park in Teiuș. The solar installation, with an installed capacity of 68.99 MW, uses tracker technology, enabling the panels to follow the sun's movement throughout the day to maximize energy output.
Located in Alba County, the park will generate enough clean energy each year to supply over 25,000 households in Romania. The site, spanning 80.5 hectares, has been designed for dual use, supporting both solar energy production and grazing, benefiting 130 local livestock farmers.
CEF Teiuș is expected to produce over 103 GWh of electricity annually, making a significant contribution to reducing carbon emissions. The total investment in the project is approximately 55 million euros, with 15 million euros provided through Romania's National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). This makes it the largest energy project in the country funded under the PNRR.
The photovoltaic park and the associated transformer station were built by ENEVO Group in partnership with Alpin Sun and Electroalfa.
